Dysart is a provision for pupils who have a range of severe and complex learning disabilities, from within the Royal Borough of Kingston and beyond.

This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how student perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.

Curriculum

At Dysart we strive to provide a curriculum that is flexible, exciting and personalised that fits each and every one of our pupils rather than making our pupils fit the curriculum.

Admissions

Dysart School is a special academy which provides 180 places for pupils and students aged 4-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties.

Students

At Dysart School we want all of our pupils to feel a part of both the school and the wider community.

Outreach

At Dysart, we recognise the important role we play in supporting local provisions to fully include pupils, enabling those pupils to better access the curriculum and to achieve their full potential

Year 9 Residential Trip

Our Year 9 pupils recently took part in an unforgettable two-night residential at High Ashurst Outdoor Learning Centre.

Throughout the trip, they built resilience, strengthened their problem-solving skills, and of course, had plenty of fun along the way. From tackling challenge courses and high ropes to team games, woodland skills, and toasting marshmallows around the campfire, it was an experience full of growth, laughter, and adventure.
