Travel training with Silver Class

Silver Class have been practicing their travel training to support their community communication and independence.

They use resources like google maps to carefully plan their journey, looking at the buses to take and what time they need to leave. This has supported their learning in maths about time.

They have all been enjoying the bus journey tapping their passes and choosing a seat.

When they get to McDonalds they choose their orders, enjoy their food and start planning their return journey to school.

We’re really proud of Silver Class for doing so well travelling around the wider community and using public transport to reach their destination.
