Physiotherapy

The Physiotherapy Service at Dysart school is provided by Achieving for Children.

The Physiotherapy team provides a service to children and young people registered with a GP within the Royal Borough of Kingston with an EHCP who have neurological problems resulting in difficulties with gross motor skills, balance and coordination that is significantly impacting on their function within the school environment.  The physiotherapy team comprises qualified  HCPC registered physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants specialising in children’s physiotherapy. They offer individualised needs assessed physical interventions that are aimed at maintaining and improving physical function, through 24 hour postural management and physical activity which will be integrated into a child or young person’s daily routine at school and carried out by the physiotherapy team or classroom staff.

There is no cost to users as the service is CCG funded.
