At Dysart we strive to provide a curriculum that is flexible, exciting and personalised that fits each and every one of our pupils rather than making our pupils fit the curriculum.

Students’ Snack Enterprise

Students in Asteroid and Apollo classes are an enterprising bunch. They have come up with a business idea and opened up a Snack Shop for staff. The shop is open over lunch time and the students sell and range of snacks.

As well as providing a service to staff, the Snack and Sell Enterprise is giving students first hand experience of running a small business. They are learning about customer service and other practical skills such as displaying the snacks and how to take payment. They are also gaining experience of ordering stock, marketing the Snack Shop and taken responsibility for manning the stand.
