Spreading Festive Cheer

Our pupils have been spreading festive cheer in the local community by singing Christmas carols. They serenaded staff at the company Saipem in Kingston, alongside students from Orchard Hill College.

Saipem are keen supporters of OHC&AT and kindly fundraise for us. As well as collecting money as we sang in the foyer of their office, they have also been making donations for a Christmas gift wrapping service and Christmas jumper day.

We also took a large group of pupils to Kingston Christmas Market in the town centre and impressed the crowd, including many parents who had come to hear us sing. Last Christmas was a big hit with our pupils and they enthusiastically sang several classics including Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman and Feliz Navidad.

We are already looking forward to next year.

You are rightly proud of your work around pupil wellbeing, and ensuring pupils are ready for learning.  This has enabled you to establish a calm and purposeful learning environment for pupils with considerable needs.
