About Us

Dysart is a provision for pupils who have a range of severe and complex learning disabilities, from within the Royal Borough of Kingston and beyond.

This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how student perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.

Curriculum

At Dysart we strive to provide a curriculum that is flexible, exciting and personalised that fits each and every one of our pupils rather than making our pupils fit the curriculum.

Admissions

Dysart School is a special academy which provides 180 places for pupils and students aged 4-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties.

Students

At Dysart School we want all of our pupils to feel a part of both the school and the wider community.

Outreach

At Dysart, we recognise the important role we play in supporting local provisions to fully include pupils, enabling those pupils to better access the curriculum and to achieve their full potential

Sending Easter greetings to Poland

Neptune Class were delighted to hear that the Easter cards they made and sent to a partner school in Poland, Szkoła Podstawowa z Oddziałami Integracyjnymi w Słupsku, have arrived.

Over the past few weeks, the students have been busy designing and creating cards festooned with rabbits, chicks and Easter eggs.

Now the children are eagerly anticipating receiving cards from their new Polish friends, and they are excited to see the messages and designs that have been sent in return.

The class exchanged cards at Christmas and our really enjoying the opportunity to connect with peers from a different culture and build international friendships.
