Safer Internet Day

Pupils in Apollo 2 celebrated Safe Internet Day this week.

The students worked in small groups playing a game of snakes and ladders – safer internet style – and made some posters to show what you can do to have fun online.  We discussed what we like to do on the internet and how we can keep safe.

The children came up with the following tips!

Tell an adult if you see something that makes you feel worried

Always ask before using the internet

Always ask if you want to buy something on eBay or Amazon

We also discussed some of the things we had learned in our safer internet sessions and chatted about using tricky passwords so nobody can guess them.

We hope that our tips can help you to use the internet safely whilst having fun at the same time!

You are rightly proud of your work around pupil wellbeing, and ensuring pupils are ready for learning.  This has enabled you to establish a calm and purposeful learning environment for pupils with considerable needs.
