Mental Health & Wellbeing Workshop

We hosted our first parents and carers workshop of 2019 on Thursday 24th January with Jo, Rachel and Magda delivering a workshop on how parents could support their child’s mental health and wellbeing at home. The workshop was really well attended and the feedback afterwards was overwhelmingly positive.

Pupils from Dysart’s 14-19 department ran a café after the workshop had finished, giving parents and staff an opportunity to chat and discuss the workshop over some coffee and some delicious biscuits and cakes that had been made by pupils.

More workshops are planned for this term and for the remainder of the year. For more details about these, please click here

You are rightly proud of your work around pupil wellbeing, and ensuring pupils are ready for learning.  This has enabled you to establish a calm and purposeful learning environment for pupils with considerable needs.
