‘Going all In’ for World Book Day

By Fiona Wilkins - March 12th, 2026 | Posted in Article

We celebrated World Book Day by dressing up in costumes and sharing our favourite books. This year’s theme was “Go All In” and there were lots of brilliant costumes representing all the different things students are “into”.

Everyone had a chance to show off their fabulous costumes at our Primary and Secondary costume parades. There were pirates and princesses, Gruffalos and many animals including the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.

It was a great opportunity to celebrate reading and share some of the books that give us pleasure across the school.

Thank you to all families and staff for the fantastic costumes and helping inspire the pupils to dive into the wonderful world of reading.

Happy World Book Day!
