George— I am no Poster Boy

One of our parents has kindly shared her son’s journey, in her own words:

I have been wanting to write about George for years. From his perspective. And now he’s approaching 18 I feel it’s definitely time! In the world of Down’s syndrome he’s just not the ‘poster boy’. He has so many challenges. So that’s the name of his Facebook and Instagram pages:

‘I am no poster boy’. He will show you how he lives his life, how he has rearranged life’s priorities and he will show you how love conquers all.
