Evidence for Learning event

On 2nd October we hosted a networking event for 14 schools in and around London and Surrey who are using the Evidence for Learning app. Having attended a networking event for schools across the country at the end of last year we were keen to host something similar on a more local and smaller scale. The aim of the day was for schools to meet and share positive practice with regards to assessment on the app as well as problem-solve and plan ahead together.

After sharing some of our curriculum and assessment journey here at Dysart we chatted in smaller groups to hear how other schools are tackling assessment post-Rochford Review. It proved to be a really valuable experience for all schools involved and one we hope to repeat in the near future.

You are rightly proud of your work around pupil wellbeing, and ensuring pupils are ready for learning.  This has enabled you to establish a calm and purposeful learning environment for pupils with considerable needs.
