Dysart is a provision for pupils who have a range of severe and complex learning disabilities, from within the Royal Borough of Kingston and beyond.
This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how student perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.
At Dysart we strive to provide a curriculum that is flexible, exciting and personalised that fits each and every one of our pupils rather than making our pupils fit the curriculum.
We see the mental health and wellbeing (MHWB) of our pupils, families and staff as a key priority at Dysart.
We endeavour to maintain clear communication between school and parents/carers.
At Dysart School we want all of our pupils to feel a part of both the school and the wider community.
At Dysart, we recognise the important role we play in supporting local provisions to fully include pupils, enabling those pupils to better access the curriculum and to achieve their full potential
Over the first week of the Summer Holiday we were pleased to once again offer students additional time in school to take part in fun activities focusing on developing their EHCP outcomes. As with the Easter provision, we used the schools Coronavirus Catch-Up funding to provide the provision for 39 of our pupils.
We would like to thank all of those staff who volunteered during the week making this program possible.
Full details of how we are spending the Coronavirus Catch-Up funding can be found here
