Dysart Pupils Star at Film Festival!

On Tuesday 21st May, a small group of pupils from Dysart attended the OHCAT (Orchard Hill College Academy Trust) annual film festival in Sutton. The event is organised by OHCAT’s Digital School who have been working with some of our pupils in the Suite over the course of this year.

Dysart entered two films in this year’s festival and our pupils were there to see them both shown on the big screen and to collect an award from Digital School Director, Simon Gale, afterwards. Jack, who helped with the editing of one of the films, said afterwards “The film festival trip went really well and all the students enjoyed it and it was lovely to see”.

Both films will be uploaded to the school website in the near future!

You are rightly proud of your work around pupil wellbeing, and ensuring pupils are ready for learning.  This has enabled you to establish a calm and purposeful learning environment for pupils with considerable needs.
