Bikeability at Kingsmeadow a Huge Success!

Pupils from Dysart have had the amazing opportunity to attend Bikeability lessons at Kingsmeadow over the past two weeks.  Bikeability is organised and run by Kingston Council and is a great way to support pupils developing their skills and confidence using different types of bicycles in a supported environment.

Alba, Dysart’s coordinator for P.E. / Sport said afterwards: “All of the pupils who took part enjoyed their time and there were lots of good practice of riding all kind of bikes and trikes! We are really proud of the challenge our pupils take on every time they have a session like this”.

Our thanks go to all of the Bikeabaility team at Kingston Council for supporting us with this initiative. Further sessions are planned for the Summer term – we can’t wait!

You are rightly proud of your work around pupil wellbeing, and ensuring pupils are ready for learning.  This has enabled you to establish a calm and purposeful learning environment for pupils with considerable needs.
