Dysart School is a special academy which provides 152 places for pupils and students aged 4-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties. For a child to be admitted, the school must be named by a Local Authority (LA) in the child’s Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). This generally follows extensive consultation with the school. Parents/carers wishing their child to attend Dysart School should ask their LA to name the school in their child’s EHCP.

My son seems to have found his niche at Dysart with a group of professionals who understand him properly. It’s only within an environment like this that he will be able to exploit his full potential.
