Dysart is a provision for pupils who have a range of severe and complex learning disabilities, from within the Royal Borough of Kingston and beyond.
This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how student perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.
At Dysart we strive to provide a curriculum that is flexible, exciting and personalised that fits each and every one of our pupils rather than making our pupils fit the curriculum.
Dysart School is a special academy which provides 180 places for pupils and students aged 4-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties.
We see the mental health and wellbeing (MHWB) of our pupils, families and staff as a key priority at Dysart.
We endeavour to maintain clear communication between school and parents/carers.
At Dysart School we want all of our pupils to feel a part of both the school and the wider community.

Dysart School is a special academy which provides 180 places for pupils and students aged 4-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties. For a child to be admitted, the school must be named by a Local Authority (LA) in the child’s Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). This generally follows extensive consultation with the school. Parents/carers wishing their child to attend Dysart School should ask their LA to name the school in their child’s EHCP.
