At Dysart we strive to provide a curriculum that is flexible, exciting and personalised that fits each and every one of our pupils rather than making our pupils fit the curriculum.

A Successful Swap Shop

At the start of the year the Dysart Champions were looking for ways to support our parents and carers. We’d received lots of donations of uniform from parents at the end of term which sparked the idea of a swap shop. The swap shop was a way for families to donate old items of clothing, toys, books and games and pick up new ones for free.

We had a huge amount of parents who kindly donated their children’s pre-loved belongings.

Parents were able to come along to the hall and pick up what they needed and the rest of the items were utilised by classes or donated to local charity Enhanceable. It was a great way for us as a school to work more sustainably.
