About Us

Dysart is a provision for pupils who have a range of severe and complex learning disabilities, from within the Royal Borough of Kingston and beyond.

This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how student perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.

Curriculum

At Dysart we strive to provide a curriculum that is flexible, exciting and personalised that fits each and every one of our pupils rather than making our pupils fit the curriculum.

Admissions

Dysart School is a special academy which provides 180 places for pupils and students aged 4-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties.

Students

At Dysart School we want all of our pupils to feel a part of both the school and the wider community.

Outreach

At Dysart, we recognise the important role we play in supporting local provisions to fully include pupils, enabling those pupils to better access the curriculum and to achieve their full potential

A Royal Adventure

A group of students from Dysart School were lucky enough to visit Hampton Court Palace this term.

We travelled by public transport carefully planning our route together. We were excited to explore the magic gardens and especially enjoyed dressing up in traditional costume.
We had a great time in the palace kitchens using all our senses to explore different ingredients and materials.

Thank you to the Royal Palace Fund who facilitated and funded this unique opportunity for our students to visit such a historical landmark.
