25th Annual World Book Day Celebrations

This year World Book Day celebrates its 25th Anniversary and pupils and staff from Dysart School had an amazing day today dressed as their favourite book characters.

As part of the annual event, every student will receive a £1 book token in their school bag which can be exchanged for a range of limited edition books at participating stores.  Stores include Asda, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Morrison’s alongside bookstores such as Waterstones and WH Smith.

For the location of your nearest participating store, please click here and then enter your postcode.

We hope you have as much fun checking out these outfits as we did!

You are rightly proud of your work around pupil wellbeing, and ensuring pupils are ready for learning.  This has enabled you to establish a calm and purposeful learning environment for pupils with considerable needs.
